Science Learning Partnership

Science Learning Partnerships combine local expertise in teaching and learning in science, facilitating networks, CPD, and providing school-to-school support. They are led by schools and colleges with cutting-edge expertise in science themselves who collaborate closely with local partners. The network of 28 Science Learning Partnerships is led by STEM Learning who provide CPD and resources; bring STEM role models into schools; and provide enrichment offers to raise the achievement and aspiration of all young people in STEM.

The network of 34 Computing Hubs, led by schools and colleges with excellence in computing, support other schools and colleges to provide a high-quality computing education to all young people. The hub works with school leaders to identify their computing needs and provide a targeted programme of support including high-quality CPD with generous bursaries; teaching and learning resources; and school-to-school support. The Computing Hub network forms a key part of the National Centre for Computing Education, led by STEM Learning in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The SLPs and Computing Hubs work closely together as part of STEM Learning’s regional network providing a joined-up approach to engaging with schools and colleges.
