Leading, developing and coordinating the team of Literacy Specialists in their role supporting schools and overseeing the impact of the school-to-school support. Establishing and maintaining links with schools whilst supporting them to develop the teaching and learning of phonics, early reading and a love of reading.

Supporting schools with the writing of action plans; leading the audit process; prioritising support required by schools; allocating funding as appropriate. Liaising with and reporting to the DfE against the three priority areas.  Maintaining communications with colleagues across the English Hub network and wider school improvement landscape to compliment the support on offer and address local need.
